Cultural Trip to Chaouen and Assilah

We cross frontiers in our next adventure that will bring us from the Rif mountains to the blue village of Chaouen and to the bord of the Athlantic ocean. 

A cool trip to enjoy beautiful landscapes, village's narrow streets and markets full of colors and handcrafts, but also to know and share moments with a different culture who will wellcome us. 
We will not forget to get a hiking activity at the Talassemtane Natural Reserve to be close of Nature, a great promenade riding a dromedary at the bord of ocean and an amazing visit to the Hercules caves, not far to Tanger. All that accompanied by local music and dance, and quality accomodation and gastronomy. 

English speaking guide (Celia) will be with you in that trip from the beginning to the end. 

 

PROGRAMME

 

Thursday Nov 1st

 

  • Boarding on Ferry Tarifa-Tanger
  • Private transport in direction to Chaouen. 
  • Stop in the way for hiking tour to "God's Bridge" (Talassemtane Natural Reserve)
  • Arrival to the inn at the site of Dardara, 6km distance to Chaouen and check-in.
  • Lunch at the inn lounges (local and organic food)
  • Break and promenade/hiking at the inn's surroundings.
  • Diner at the inn.

 

Friday Nov. 2nd

 

  • Breakfast at the inn. 
  • Visit to Chaouen town: Castle (Kasbah) and gardens with a local guide, markets, etc.
  • Lunch at Chaouen's restaurant: Cus-cus.
  • We continue visiting Chaouen and surroundings: Ras-Lma waterfalls, medina, etc. 
  • Local music and dancing at the inn. 
  • Diner. 

 

Saturday Nov. 3rd. 

 

  • Breakfast at the inn. 
  • Private transport in direction to Assilah with a brake on the way. 
  • Arrival to Assilah's hotel and check-in
  • Lunch.
  • Visit to Assilah's old town, markets and surroundings. 
  • Diner. 

 

Sunday Nov. 4th. 

 

  • Breakfast at the hotel. 
  • Dromedary promenade by the bord of the ocean. 
  • Private transport in the direction to Tanger. 
  • Stop at Espartel Cape and visit to Hercules Caves. 
  • Lunch at restaurant. 
  • Arrival to Tanger and boarding to Tarifa.

CONDITIONS

 

  • Travellers must have with them their VALID PASSPORT
  • You have to arrive by your own to Tarifa. We can keep in touch the people interested in sharing the car from your origin to Tarifa. 
  • Since culture varies from continent to continent, and also depending to the weather conditions, the programme and timetable could be slightly modified. 
  • The accomodation will be adapted to the people coming: couples (double room) or families (more beds). If someone would like to get a single room, please consult with us this possibility. 
  • Places are limited: minumum 8 persons.
  • For confirm your reservations it's required to pay at least the 50% of the total amount before the 14 th February, and the rest before the 22nd. Consult with us the cancellation conditions.
